JOB DESCRIPTION

• Location — Botwood Heritage Park working at the Heritage Museum and/or Aviation Museum
• Job duration is June 12 — September 1, 2017 — 12 weeks — 40 hours per week
• Facilities are open seven days a week 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily
• Student will be required to work some evenings and weekends
• Wage rate is $10.75 per hour
• Job will consist of providing guided tours to visitors, handling cash, maintaining security and cleanliness of premises and compiling statistics on visitors.
• Preference will be give (but not limited) to candidates with a certificate in (or working towards) Museum/Heritage Studies. It would also be an asset that the candidate have a certificate from Superhost — delivered by Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador. Other qualifications would be a friendly, outgoing personality and ability to speak in front of a group of visitors.
