The Dawson City Museum, in Dawson City, Yukon, is hiring interpretive staff for the summer of 2017.

The successful candidates will:
— present the Museum and its collections to our visitors through educational and interactive interpretive programs
— present demonstrations
— present audio-visual programs
— assist with community events
— undertake visitor surveys
— other reasonable duties as required

Candidates must be full-time students returning to school in the fall and be willing to commit to work from the middle of May to September. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills. They will have the ability to work with a range of audiences and to work both as a member of a team and independently. Knowledge of Klondike human and natural history will be considered an asset. Students enrolled in Theatre, Museum Studies, History, Education, or related disciplines, are encouraged to apply.
