Museum Data Manager
The successful applicant will receive training in Past Perfect software and then implement a digital record of the museum collection. This will be a multi-year project and year one will give someone an opportunity to set up and manage a new project.
A background in Canadian History or Museum Studies is required. Experience working in a museum and or with the Past Perfect software preferred. Superior writing and computer skills are a requirement
Renfrew is located one hour west of Ottawa on highway 17. It is a small town of 8,500. The McDougall Mill was built in 1855 and is located in O'Brien Park next to the historic Swinging Bridge. Further information can be found at www.renfrewmuseum.ca
The position starts May 1 and ends on Labour Day weekend. It is a 7 hour day, 5 days a week, days of work are flexible as the museum operates daily. Hourly rate is $15
