South Grey Museum seeks an individual inspired by local history and passionate about artifacts to fill a role as Community Cultural Collections Coordinator. Participant will assist the Curator with in-house and online exhibits, programs and community events to develop story content, image and video production for local cultural channel, online exhibits and social media use. Participant will work with museum artifacts and image collection to develop inspiring exhibits and tell interpretive stories for our local community and visitors. Successful applicant will work closely with the Curator, volunteers and community groups to develop, promote, implement and report on a variety of events, exhibits, artifacts and interpretive storytelling opportunities and programs. Work will involve working closely with collection, developing programs and working with community partners. Position is five days a week – 7.5 hours a day, including weekends.
