Canada's Aviation Hall of Fame - located at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum in Wetaskiwin, AB - is looking for (2) Young Canada Works* Collections Manager Assistants for summer 2018.

Job Title: Collections Manager Assistant
Institution: Canada's Aviation Hall of Fame
Location: Reynolds-Alberta Museum, Wetaskiwin, AB
Duration: Tentatively 12-16 weeks, 30 hours a week.
Rate of Pay: $16.00/hour
Start and End Dates: April 30 - July 20, 2018 or August 3, 2018 depending on YCW approval and funding.*
Supervisor: Collections Manager (Aja Cooper) and Executive Director (Robert Porter)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summers students will be responsible for numerous tasks including cataloguing and digitizing the CAHF collections, research on new exhibits, assisting with an inventory of artifact and archival collections, exhibit installation and maintenance, and assisting with school tours. Individuals with an interest in aviation are encouraged to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must:
~Possess excellent computer skills;
~Have a strong knowledge of oral and written English;
~Be detail-oriented;
~Work well alone yet can be part of a team alongside staff;
~Be an ambassador and leader for the public;
~Hold a valid drivers license;
~Be able to lift 15kg.
