MacBride Museum of Yukon History is hiring an Event Coordinator to assist in the planning and delivery of MacBride Museum special events and rentals over the summer. This job will run from May 7 to August 24, 2018.
MacBride Museum is located in downtown Whitehorse, Yukon.
This job will pay $14.50/hour for 37.5 hours per week.
Duties include assisting in the planning, set-up and delivery of museum events and museum rentals. The successful candidate will enjoy interacting with people and have an interest in Yukon history.

Qualifications:
Students should be enrolled in post-secondary studies in the following subjects: museum studies, history, education, archaeology, anthropology, business, tourism or communications.
Students should have basic computer skills. Proficiency in the programs in the MS Office Suite would be an asset.
Fluency in reading and speaking English is required; French is an asset.
