Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver guided tours daily to Whyte Museum visitors and booked tour groups
• Greet Museum visitors
• Assist in programming for the Whyte Museum’s annual special events
• Deliver other interpretive programs as required
• Gather visitor feedback and comments and assist with the evaluation of programs
• Complete museum and archival tasks and projects
• Complete social media tasks and projects
• Be present in galleries to engage with visitors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will;

• Be highly motivated and team oriented
• Have strong oral and written communication skills
• Be completely fluent in the English language (French would be an asset)
• Have at least one year of post-secondary education in the field of history, art, art history, natural science, or a related field
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Internet search engines
• Certification in First Aid/CPR

Candidates must commit to the entire term of work. They must be willing to work weekends and statutory holidays. Subsidized housing is available.
