This position would be ideal for a second or third year university student with a background in science or history and considering pursuing a Science, Education or Museum Studies program. Science East is located in a Provincial Heritage building and houses a Museum and hands-on Science exhibits whose goal is to inspire and inform through hands-on experiences. The goal for the summer is to develop and deliver interactive / hands-on activities that will be be display New Brunswick's Innovators in Technology past and present.

Qualifications:
Must be interested in science, history, education or museum studies as well as interacting with the public.
Must have strong communication skills in English and French
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

This position is supported by Young Canada Works Summer Employment. As such, applicants must have been a full-time student in the semester preceding this position and intending to return to full-time studies in September. They must be between 16 and 30 upon commencement of employment and legally entitled to work in Canada.
Candidates cannot have another full-time job while employed with YCW and must register in the YCW on-line candidate inventory.
