One (1) Temporary Summer Student Full-Time Summer Literacy Coordinator
This position will be located at Huron County Library Administration Office, Clinton ON

The Summer Literacy Coordinator will plan, develop and promote the Huron County Library summer reading program: The TD Summer Reading Club. This position requires travel to 12 library branches each week.

Qualifications:
• driver's licence, good driving record and access to a vehicle
• experience working with children would be an asset
•Strong organizational skills and communication skills

Eligible candidates will be required to apply for a Vulnerable Sector check.

Tasks include: Developing weekly themes, creating promotional materials, presenting programs with activities that exercise and develop children's literacy skills. School visits to promote the program. Keeping statistics and reports. Work related travel will be reimbursed at the County rate.

The Library is an important community hub for county services, culture and information.
