Job description: Participate in a season and share in the celebration of our festivals and events we must bring a sense of discovery to the youths as to what life would have been like during confederation. Provide Interpretive programs for visitors, wear costumes for the time period. Deliver a variety of museum programs for children and family groups. Develop museum-based children’s activity, under supervision. Learn and understand provided historical information. Complete assigned tasks. Provide excellent customer and client service. The successful candidate will work weekends and holidays during the work term. Ability to successfully complete a security clearance has required this position.
Qualifications: * Registration to return to school in September.
* Experience working with children in a leadership capacity.
* Demonstrated interest in 19th-century Canadian history.
* Strong time-management and organizational skills.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a demanding customer-based environment.
