A Curatorial Assistant is required at the Prairie West Historical Centre in Eston SK. The position commences May 22, 2018 and runs for approximately 13 weeks ending August 17, 2018. The wage is $11.50 an hour and a work week is 35 hours. The employee may be expected to work some weekends.
The job will require the assistant to interact with the public, old and young alike, and work with others as well as independently on different projects such as documentation, accessioning, school programs, tours of the facility, and general cleaning and yard maintenance.
The applicant should be eager, industrious, courteous, interested in our museum, and willing to promote our heritage.
