Job Title: Student Museum Education Assistant

Job Description: The student will 1) develop new curriculum based educational programming exploring the theme of Indigenous history and culture in the Windsor Region
2) Review, revise, and update current educational programming offered through Museum Windsor 3) Assist with the implementation and coordination of student and adult based summer programming and assist with general administrative duties as required

Work Location: Chimczuk Museum, 401 Riverside Drive West

Time Frame: June 12-September 1, 2018

Wage: $16.57 /hour

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 9am-5pm

Required Qualifications: University or College student (preferably a major in education, history, anthropology, tourism, museum studies or related field); experience working with youth and program development of paramount importance; well-developed communication and writing skills. Understanding of Indigenous history/worldviews considered an asset.
