We are looking for an energetic individual to assist in creating advances in the dissemination of curatorial theory and further knowledge of contemporary and historic Indigenous life in southeast Saskatchewan. This will include an introduction to the day-to-day responsibilities of a Curator, including the organisation of exhibitions from research, writing, selection of works, arranging loans, supervising catalogue production, and designing and supervising installation of exhibitions to preparing publicity and curatorial packages. The Curatorial Intern will also play a key role in the acquisition, de-accession, storage, and exhibitions of works of art and collections, and will work closely with the Curator in all aspects of the position's duties and responsibilities.

The position will begin on October 2nd, 2017, and will end on March 30th, 2018. The work week will run from Monday to Friday. Specific hours will be negotiated, but will continually be a 35 hour work week.

Wage: $15.00/hr (including vacation pay).
