The Haida Gwaii Museum is seeking a First Nations post-secondary graduate for an exciting cultural interpretation internship starting September 11, 2017 to March 31, 2018. The position involves assisting with the implementation of a range of projects aimed at capacity building, management practices, and the production of experiential tourism products and services at the Haida Heritage Centre and Haida Gwaii Museum. This is an exciting opportunity in the heritage, and tourism sector and will provide an in depth work experience in the growing field of Cultural Tourism. Candidates will have an interest in the contemporary Haida culture and history. All Aboriginal peoples are encouraged to apply for the position. The job location is the Haida Gwaii Museum located on the First Nations Haida Reserve of Skidegate on Haida Gwaii, BC. The wage is $18.00 per hour at 35 hours per week.
