NVDPL is looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing student assistant to help us with Summer Reading Club!
Requirements:
A post-secondary student who enjoys working with children of all ages
Enthusiastic about reading & can model reading as an enjoyable and preferable activity
A team player who can share and implement creative ideas
Already somewhat familiar with children’s literature, and are looking to gain more knowledge
Able to impart the same information over & over with the same level of passion & enthusiasm
Ideally enrolled in Library School, or a faculty of Education, or in a Library Technician diploma program
