Archives Assistant
—Location – Botwood Heritage Park working at the Aviation Museum.
—Job duration is June 12–September 1, 2017 – 12 weeks – 40 hrs per week
—Facilities are open seven days a week 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Student will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
—Wage is $10.75 per hr
—Job will consist of the gathering and maintenance of items in the Archives as well as providing tours to visitors at the Museum.
—Preference will be given (but not limited) to candidates with a certificate in (or working towards) Museum/Heritage/Archives Studies. It would also be preferable that the candidate have a certificate from Superhost – delivered by Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador. Other qualifications would be friendly, outgoing personality and ability to speak in front of a group of visitors.
