Job description:  Bring Fort Steele to life for school students and visitors!  Fort Steele is seeking Education and Interpretation Officers to re-enact life in Fort Steele in the 1890s.  Dress in period costume and portray a citizen during the Gold Rush, demonstrate a skill or trade essential to everyday life, or guide visitors around our heritage site and buildings.  Fort Steele is one of the premier living history frontier heritage attractions in Canada and is world renowned for its historical streetscapes and displays, interpretive programs and customer service.
Qualifications:  Must be a current post-secondary student preferably pursuing studies in history and/or education.  Excellent verbal communication skills and fluency in English is required, as is the desire and ability to work with children and members of the public.   Fort Steele is open 7 days a week throughout the year.
