The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre hosts the biggest collection of fossil marine reptiles in the world, including Bruce, a Tylosaurus pembinensis, Guinness World Record at the biggest mosasaur skeleton in display, and Official Fossil Emblem of Manitoba.
The Centre is located in Morden, at the foot of the Manitoba Escarpment, and an hour and a half drive South of Winnipeg.

Tasks:
- Assist Museum staff and volunteers with VIP/Museum Tours program
- Conduct exciting and informative Museum tours
- Assist Curator with research projects
- Learn and share about the Manitoba fossil heritage
- Assist with the development of new exhibits
- Participate in CFDC outreach events and programs
Start Date: July 1st 2025
End Date: August 28th 2025
Hours: 40/week
Wage: $17.50/hr
Requirements:
- Full-time post-secondary student returning as a full-time student
- First aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them (cost to be reimbursed).
- Submit to a child abuse registry check and criminal record check (costs to be reimbursed)
- Valid driver's license
- Recommended to have taken at least 1 course in any of the following: Palaeontology, Biology, Geology, Anthropology or Archaeology, Tourism, Hospitality, Media, Education or Communications.
