We are looking for an energetic individual to assist in the development and implementation of educational programming and art engagement opportunities at the Mann Art Gallery.

This includes leading gallery school tour groups, hands-on activities for those with mental/physical disabilities, developing and
implementing art projects, assisting with Children's Art Camps, and researching and creating immersive education packages based on our current contemporary art exhibitions and holdings in the Permanent Collection.

Work will also include digital educational engagement through preparing artwork information from the Collection to be accessed by the general public online.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Manager of Education Programs and the Artistic Director.

Successful candidates with educational and practical experience in Visual Arts, Art History, and Education would be best suited for this position.

Previous knowledge or interest in Indigenous and Saskatchewan art and working with children, individuals with mental/physical disabilities and/or seniors is an asset. The candidate should be polite, patient, and organized, be able to work with people of varying ages, capacities and ethnicities, and sustain excellent communication skills.

Familiarity of Windows computer systems, word processing, basic photo editing software, and email is also important.

Experience with databases is ideal, though not required.

The successful candidates must be fluent in English (oral and written), but oral fluencies in French, Cree or other languages would be an asset.

This position provides work-related experience for careers in museums, art galleries, education, or collections/archive management.

Furthermore, successful candidates must meet all eligibility requirements for the Young Canada Works program.
