The first 9 weeks in Canada:
-Employer: XeNatiFuture (643 Boulevard Marie-Victorin, Boucherville, Canada.);

The following 22 weeks in China:
-Host organization abroad: Guangxi New Oriental Education (No.6 Teaching Building, 268 Wenxin Road, Liuzhou, China);

*Wage: 12 $/hr (other benefits: subsidy for overseas medical/travel insurances & for accommodation + paid vacations + performance bonus);
*Job description: Working under supervision, you will assist, plan, organize and/or lead activities/courses on a daily basis to motivate students to learn more about English. You will share Canadian culture and the unique linguistic features of your home region through art, music, stories, local expressions, and humor etc.;

*Tasks:
- encouraging students to participate in English oral communication activities;
- leading small groups of 3 to 10 students by preparing activities that focus on English conversation skills and on learning the Canadian culture in order to complement the curriculum taught by the instructor;
- motivating students to be bilingualism or trilingual;
- encouraging students to appreciate and respect different cultures;
- participating in evening and weekend English-French bilingual cultural activities;
- helping students in the language lab to reinforce their conversation skills.

*Conditions & qualifications:
- Canadian citizen or a permanent resident;
- between 18 and 30 years of age;
- willing to work in another country;
- willing to commit to the full duration of the work assignment;
- no another full-time job while employed;
- unemployed or underemployed college or university graduate graduating from college or university within the last 24 months at the start of employment;
- a working knowledge of both English and French: solid, both oral and written English-language skills as first language; fluent spoken French and basic Chinese skills are a great asset;
- not receiving EI while employed with YCW;
- not previously participant or being paid under this or any other Career Focus internship program funded under the Government of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy;
- good at Word/Excel/PPT;
- XeNatiFuture’s technician team will develop a new online system for candidates to self-evaluate if they meet all above requirements as well as to fill and submit the application via its own website(http://www.xenatifuture.org/);
- any field of study is acceptable. However, students with diploma on language teaching/tourism/Chinese culture or language/international business, as well as candidate who is sociable or good at communication are preferable;
- Woman candidate or candidate from visible minorities has priority to be selected;
- all candidates must attach, with their applications, a letter written by a personnel of their school and copies of other necessary official supporting documents as proof for YCW eligibility.
